loadmo.re is the first collection dedicated exclusively to mobile websites, focusing on alternative approaches to interface design and unconventional digital experiences. If you would like to submit a project, get in touch here.
Launched independently in 2021 by Kim Lê Boutin, loadmo.re began as a personal research and curation initiative. It gathers distinctive mobile experiences into a living archive for designers, developers, and digital practitioners interested in expanding the language of mobile-first design. To keep up with updates, follow the archive on Instagram.
As digital culture shifted from desktop to handheld devices, loadmo.re emerged as a space where mobile-first design could be observed, compared, and critically examined — outside of mainstream inspiration platforms.
The archive is rooted in my concept of Positive Friction©: embracing irregularity and resisting standardization to reclaim agency in digital spaces. Through this ongoing curation, I aim to inspire new perspectives on mobile interfaces and encourage more experimental, thoughtful approaches to digital design.
